EMX Industries, Inc. is a world class manufacturer of sensors that can detect colors, luminescence, translucence, color contrast, color opacity or color brightness in wet solutions. Sensors come with discrete outputs typically used to trigger product rejection or diversion and analog outputs which may be used for data logging. Sensor sampling is in the 10 kHz to 20 kHz allowing them to be used in high speed production lines. Field of view for the lens at 50 mm away from the product is 4 mm, 8 mm, and 25 mm. Sensors with the digital display on the back use auto-teach for base readings. Units in the M30 barrel style require a connection to a computer for initial set-up. Lenses come in both glass or plastic to comply with industry specific standards. EMX Industries, Inc. will perform free testing analysis on samples sent to the factory laboratory in Cleveland, Ohio for customers who are not sure if their product can be sensed for color or luminescence.
